A powerful storm in the Bering Sea will bring strong wind, coastal flooding and heavy precipitation to parts of western Alaska this weekend. Farther inland, blizzard conditions and freezing rain are expected in parts of the Alaska Interior. Storm surge in coastal communities could range from 7 to 12 feet above normal tide in Norton Sound.
